it iis verey very disturbing to see our sisters and brothers suffering in this way, people should stop blaming incent people and come with intiatives that will empower them and their future family that sitting with thier hands and blame other people foor their current status. i understand that it is not by default that South Africans are poor, as it was caused by the apartheid system imposed to Africans particularly blacks. in the current epoch we are sourrounded by opportunites, we just have to come with a way to empower ourselves

Black South Africans should stop blaming African foreigners about taking away their jobs. If apartheid was evil, why do black South Africans do apartheid against other Black people from African countries? We as Africans have first seen the movement of people from one country to another by Black South Africans during apartheid. So, why do black South Africans think they are not supposed to accept & welcome other people in their country? Do they think they were so smart that our countries had to give them refugee status and they think they are not entitled to give refugee status to other Africans? Black SAs continue showing the world how badly they behave towards other people especially black foreigners! Shame on them!

What happend to these people was wrong, however we need to look at the context of the situation. Ordinay South African are also stuggling to put food on the table, thus competing with foreign nationals. The only advantage they've got are their ID documents. We should not forget that. The goverment are ill equip to implement legislative policies to deal with these issue. The farmers in those region are the ones that benefits. The goverment should carry this blame for the lack of services delivery, the lack of job creation, now there are two which are economical disadvantage, fighting for one BONE and thats a fact.

There must be something wrong with a nation when they fight foreigners doing menial jobs! We had Mozambicans on Zimbawean farms and rural areas but they never were given even a clap! The problem in SOuth Africa must be more than fighting for job losses. The politicians need to be investigated for their hand in this.

The dead hand of history will always be active. For sure it might be invisible now, but the African story always has a way of relieving the sordid moments. Watching the movie District 9, I could not help remembering Thembisa. Yesterday we mourned for Rwanda, just today we mourn for our African brothers from across, who knows whose turn it will be tomorrow. SA have you forgotten pre-1994?
