A reported 3 000 foreigners, mostly Zimbabweans, were driven from their homes in Du Doorns informal settlements on Tuesday, in a frightening resurgence of the xenophobic attacks that made headlines in 2008.

Homeward bound

Farmworkers return home to the informal settlement in De Doorns at the end of another hard day. Xenophobic attacks have displaced around 2 500 Zimbabwean farmworkers as locals claim they're taking their jobs away.
